Martel Thatch adds needed linebacker depth for North Carolina
Thatch projects as a **depth piece** for North Carolina’s linebacker room, with the Tar Heels noting that he adds depth and finished a season with **nine tackles** and **three solo stops**. At **6-2, 223**, he brings a usable college frame and appears to be a steady, role-ready defender rather than a headline-grabber. The key question for a team is whether you want a reliable rotational linebacker who can fill gaps, compete physically, and provide roster stability; the limited public data suggests solid value, but not yet a proven impact starter.
