Fordham’s all-purpose spark: Mason Hatfield brings value beyond the box score
Mason Hatfield is a compact, versatile Fordham running back who has already shown real value as a kick returner and depth piece on offense, with 2024 numbers of 26 rushing yards on 6 carries, 2 receiving yards, and 335 kick-return yards on 18 returns for an 18.6-yard average, plus 5 punt-return yards.[9][1] His differentiator is special-teams utility and open-field quickness rather than volume rushing, which makes him a fit for a team that wants a reliable, high-effort role player who can change field position while developing as a runner.[9][1]
