John Garrett Brings Range, Physicality, and a “No-Shortcut” Motor to Alabama A&M
John Garrett is the kind of linebacker who earns snaps by doing the dirty work well: downhill triggers, active pursuit, and a physical edge that fits a hard-nosed defense. I couldn’t verify current 2026 game-by-game production from the available sources, but Alabama A&M’s defense has been vulnerable overall this season, which makes dependable tacklers and tone-setters especially valuable. If you want a linebacker who can pop off the screen with effort, toughness, and special-teams value, Garrett looks like a practical fit.
