Giant frame, veteran label, but current on-field production is unclear
David Handler is listed as a Savannah State quarterback in 2026 roster data, and older team materials show the 6-foot-5, 240-pound Culver City native as a developmental pocket passer with size and experience. The catch: publicly visible stat pages do not show meaningful current production, so the best read is that he looks more like a depth or system-fit QB than a proven stat-sheet mover right now. If you want a big-bodied passer with history in the program, there’s intrigue; if you need immediate, verified game-changing output, the evidence is thin.
