Montana State’s freshman long snapper with roster-ready size and specialist value
In the 2026 season, Tyler Nesbitt is listed on Montana State’s roster as a 5-foot-9, 195-pound freshman long snapper, which makes him a true specialist built for reliability rather than flashy box-score numbers.[1] For a team, that matters: long snappers are judged on consistency, poise, and clean operation under pressure, and Nesbitt’s value is in being the quiet machine that keeps punts and field goals on schedule.[1] He looks like a fit for a program that wants dependable special teams depth and no-drama execution.
