steady Siena guard with efficient all-around value
Downey gives Siena a reliable backcourt presence: in his Siena career he posted 13.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game while shooting 84.1% at the line, but his long-range shot has been inconsistent (27.8% from three). He stands out more as a multi-category contributor than a pure scorer, with solid size for a guard at 6-foot-2 and enough playmaking to help connect an offense.[1][5] For a team, he profiles as a tough, steady guard who can do a bit of everything—useful if you value floor balance and versatility over highlight-reel shot-making.[1][4][5]
