Josh Ortega brings proven edge-setting size and steady production off the UTEP defensive front
Josh Ortega is a **6-3, 270-pound defensive end** who has already shown he can hold up as a starter-level college defender, with **27 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and a pass breakup** in his 2021 season at UTEP.[1][5] The appeal is his combination of size, experience, and positional versatility on the line, plus the fact that he’s logged real game reps rather than being just a projection.[1][5] If you need a defensive lineman who can play physical and fit into a rotation or compete for snaps, Ortega has the traits that matter.[1][5][6]
