Steady Forward for Illinois State with Room to Grow
Cedric Knight, a forward for the Illinois State Redbirds, posted modest 2025-26 stats (5.1 PPG, 1.0 APG, 0.7 SPG), ranking 718th among MVC forwards, but his differentiators lie in his consistent defensive intensity, reliable rebounding in limited minutes, and UK-born resilience that fuels team grit. While not a primary scorer, Knight’s low turnover rate and steady presence make him a solid fit for teams needing a reliable, high-effort forward off the bench—though he lacks elite offensive firepower. His injury history is clean, and his personality traits (disciplined, team-first) shine in digests from reliable sources, making him a dependable, though not flashy, asset for roster depth.
