Southern’s punter with specialist pedigree
Austin Summerbell is a **Southern University punter** whose value is tied to field-position football and specialist consistency; Southern lists him on its football roster, ESPN tracks him as a punter, and his Hudl profile ties him to specialist coaching, which points to a focused kicking background.[2][3][8] There are **no current-season stats posted** on Southern’s roster page, so the best read is that he’s a role-specific asset rather than a volume-stat player.[2] If your team needs a disciplined specialist who can help flip the field and handle punting duties cleanly, he’s the kind of roster fit that matters more in hidden yards than headline numbers.[2][3]
