Michael Harrell brings efficient scoring pop to Southern’s backcourt
In the 2025-26 season, Michael Harrell has opened with a clean, high-efficiency scoring line for Southern, posting 15 points on 5-for-5 shooting in his first logged game and adding a steal in 21 minutes.[1] At 6'2" and 190 pounds, he profiles as a strong, compact guard who can finish without forcing shots, and his early production suggests a low-usage, high-conversion fit rather than a volume scorer.[1] His appeal is straightforward: if you want a guard who can give you instant offense, stay poised, and avoid wasted possessions, Harrell is worth a close look.[1][3]
