North Texas QB with a path to grow, but not the current starter
Will Kuehne is a North Texas quarterback to watch, but current public reporting points to redshirt freshman Drew Mestemaker as the Week 1 starter for 2025, which suggests Kuehne is more of a developmental depth piece than an established impact player right now. In a fit-and-need sense, he matters if you value a QB room with upside and competition, but there is not enough reliable public data here to credibly label him a current production leader or proven difference-maker.
