Demetri Morsell is a veteran ball-hawking CB with big-game DNA for Southern
In the 2023 season, Demetri Morsell logged 27 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 5 pass breakups for Southern, and his end-zone stop in the Bayou Classic showed why he matters in high-leverage moments[1][5]. A 5'11", 180-pound senior transfer from Bowie State, he brings proven Division II All-America pedigree, sticky coverage instincts, and a competitive edge that shows up when the game tightens[6][11]. If you want a corner who can hold up physically, compete confidently, and make momentum-swinging plays, he looks like a strong fit[1][5][11].
