Brandon Kellermann brings linebacker toughness to Sac State’s backfield
Brandon Kellermann’s appeal is his unusual path: he came to Sacramento State as a former all-conference junior-college linebacker and converted to running back, where he showed immediate all-purpose value and production in his collegiate debut. His profile suggests a physical, downhill runner with the mentality of a defender, which can translate into reliability in contact, special-teams versatility, and a high-effort, no-frills style that coaches tend to trust. If you want a back who plays with edge and can help in multiple roles, he’s worth a look.
