local Clarksville guard with size, touch, and a low-volume résumé
Coffey is a 6-foot-7 guard/wing from Clarksville who arrived at Austin Peay after averaging 4.1 points and 2.3 rebounds at Columbia State in the 2021-22 season, where he shot 52.2% from the field and 36.8% from three; at Austin Peay in the 2022-23 season, he appeared in three games. The appeal is clear: uncommon size for a guard, a shooting touch that translated at the JUCO level, and hometown familiarity with the program. The downside is the sample size is tiny, so he profiles more as a development bet than an instant-impact rotation answer.
