Versatile Richmond Spiders TE with Scholar-Athlete Credentials
Sam Roller is a tight end who demonstrated reliable hands and production during his 2013 season at Richmond, recording 20 receptions for 194 yards across 11 games with three starts. A standout scholar-athlete who earned Summit League Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors at NDSU, Roller combines athletic versatility with academic excellence. However, his college career was significantly impacted by a season-ending injury, which raises durability concerns. Best suited for programs valuing character, intelligence, and multi-positional flexibility alongside traditional tight end skills.
