Dana Echols brings backcourt juice to Norfolk State
Dana Echols is a Norfolk State Spartans guard whose value is tied to backcourt depth and fit within a winning women’s program that opened the 2025 season with a 77-53 win over Virginia State and later stacked another emphatic 93-52 victory over South Carolina State; however, the available results do not include player-level stats, so the best read is that she is part of a defense- and tempo-capable team environment rather than a clearly documented statistical star. For a roster fit, she reads as a guard to watch if you want energy, system buy-in, and potential two-way utility.
