Davidson's Steady DB from a Decade Past
Sean Simmons, a 5-11 cornerback for the Davidson Wildcats from Dripping Springs, TX, showed reliability in limited action during the 2007-2008 seasons, logging tackles against Jacksonville and Dayton while earning PFL Academic Honor Roll honors—highlighting his discipline and smarts. With minimal stats but consistent special teams and defensive snaps in six games each year, he's the quintessential high-motor, team-first player ideal for depth roles; no injury red flags, just understated intensity perfect for programs valuing FCS grit over flash.
