productive, disruptive Virginia Tech linebacker with big-play range
Edwards was a high-impact Virginia Tech linebacker whose 2013 season showed real difference-making ability: 71 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, and two interceptions while playing more than 825 defensive snaps. At 6-foot-2 and about 234-240 pounds, he brought the size to play downhill and the versatility to create plays all over the field. For a team, the appeal is clear: he projects as a tough, active second-level defender with proven production, instincts, and pass-rush juice from the linebacker spot.
