Asia McCoy gives UMass a steady two-way guard who does the little things
Asia McCoy’s profile at UMass is that of a reliable, low-drama guard: in her UMass season listed by ESPN and the school, she averaged 4.7 points and 3.8 rebounds with 22.2 minutes per game, suggesting she can contribute without needing heavy usage. [2][7] Her value is in versatility and effort—she brings rebound help from the guard spot, has shown she can earn starts, and fits best for a team that wants toughness, consistency, and glue-player habits more than highlight-chasing offense.
