Candace Bloomquist brings veteran guard instincts and reliable perimeter touch to Creighton
Candace Bloomquist is a smart, steady guard for Creighton who has shown real value as a perimeter shooter and complementary creator, leading the Bluejays in 3-point percentage in the 1999-00 season at 39.5% and adding 2.9 points per game with 1.8 rebounds in 26 appearances. She is the kind of player coaches like because she does the little things, competes, and can fit into a system without needing the ball to be safe in her hands. That combo of spacing, poise, and team-first play makes her a useful backcourt fit.
