Ronnie Yell brings veteran cornerback toughness and ball production to San Jose State
Ronnie Yell is a **2000s-era San Jose State CB** whose value comes from steady coverage discipline, physical tackling, and proven playmaking—he finished his Spartans career with **168 tackles and 7 interceptions** in the available record. [4][7] At **5-foot-10, 188 pounds**, he profiles as a compact, competitive defender who can hold up in run support and challenge receivers with toughness rather than flashy length. [4] If you want a corner who adds experience, reliability, and a no-nonsense edge, Yell fits the bill as a hard-nosed, team-first piece. [4][7]
