Robert Hayes brings proven guard scoring to Cal State Bakersfield
Hayes is a battle-tested guard with a track record of putting up points and creating pressure on both ends, highlighted by his All-CCAA recognition and 15.9 points per game in the 2009-10 season after earning Freshman of the Year honors in 2008. His differentiators are shot-making, defensive activity, and experience in winning roles, plus he has shown he can produce big scoring nights and contribute steals and assists. For a team, he fits best as a veteran perimeter presence who can stabilize offense and compete with intensity rather than as a pure stat-padding specialist.[2]
