Nicholls Colonels' Versatile WR/Special Teams Spark (2017)
Jason Richard, a junior WR for the Nicholls Colonels in 2017, appeared in seven games with 3 tackles (2 solo), including a standout 2-tackle performance in a win, showcasing his reliability on special teams and receiver depth.[4] His high school Hudl highlights from Thibodaux, LA, reveal smooth route-running and speed, marking him as a gritty, multi-phase contributor with tackle hustle that differentiates him from pure offensive skill players.[5] No injury concerns noted; his special teams tenacity makes him a low-risk, high-energy fit for teams needing depth and special teams intensity—worth watching for FCS standouts.
