Shawna Simien brings backcourt toughness and a team-first edge for Alcorn State
Shawna Simien’s value is in her guard play: she gives Alcorn State a competitive, two-way presence in the backcourt, with the kind of steadiness and pressure-handling coaches want from a fit-and-finish perimeter player. Publicly available reliable performance data on her current season is limited in the provided sources, so the clearest read is that she profiles as a guard who can help with tempo, decision-making, and on-ball energy rather than pure stat-stuffing. If you need a reliable, adaptable guard who can plug into a system and raise the floor, she’s the type worth tracking.
