a classic Bobcat bruiser with a memorable Montana State legacy
Evin Groves’ Montana State résumé still pops because he was a productive, physical back who delivered big-game juice, including a 435-yard freshman season total that ranked among the best in Bobcat history and a 143-yard performance against Montana in 2005. He was known for toughness, burst, and a nose for the moment—plus enough versatility to contribute as a receiver and returner. If you value a back who plays with edge and can swing rivalry games, Groves fits the mold.
