Steady Eastern Illinois Guard with Scoring Punch and Clutch Moments
Shakita Cox, Eastern Illinois Panthers guard, averaged around 10-11 points per game in the 2015-16 season alongside Erica Brown, showcasing her scoring reliability with standout performances like 20 points against Lehigh and clutch buzzer-beaters such as a first-quarter layup vs. Omaha. Her differentiator is poise under pressure—draining key threes and contributing defensively—making her a versatile floor general with 3.3 assists in limited recent stats. Ideal fit for teams needing a gritty, consistent starter who elevates in rivalry games; no notable injury history, just pure hustle.
