High-effort K-State forward who brought size, energy, and team-first juice
Karapetyan was a 6-foot-7, 220-pound freshman forward for Kansas State in the 2013-14 season, known more for his fit, effort, and coachability than for box-score pop: he averaged 0.3 points and 0.2 rebounds in 3.3 minutes per game that year. His differentiators were positional size, a willingness to be pushed by the staff, and a clear team-first mindset—he said he wanted to be the best player, teammate, and student he could be. He also dealt with an early-foot injury that slowed his start, so the appeal is developmental upside, not instant offense.
