Darnay Holmes brings twitchy, competitive coverage skills — but he’s an NFL veteran, not a current UCLA Bruin
Darnay Holmes is best known for his UCLA roots and as a feisty, instinctive defensive back with quick feet, strong mirror skills, and a reputation for playing with real edge in coverage. The catch: the available information shows him as a 2026 NFL player, not a current UCLA roster DB, so he’s not a fit if you’re looking for a college addition. His scouting profile consistently praised his toughness, ball skills, and short-area burst, while flagging size and consistency against bigger, faster receivers.
