Jamani Chavis brings size, experience, and linebacker juice to Savannah State
Jamani Chavis is a 6-2, 220-pound linebacker for Savannah State, and that frame helps explain why he reads as a physical, downhill defender with real presence in the middle of the defense.[2] The clearest differentiator is experience: his program profile and older roster entries show he has been around the Tigers for years, which usually translates to better command, steadier tackling angles, and fewer freshman-style mistakes.[1][2] He looks like a fit if you want a tough, active linebacker who can hold his ground and bring energy, rather than just chase highlight plays.[1][2]
