Veteran Lady Vol leader whose impact went far beyond the box score
In the 2021-22 season, Keyen Green gave Tennessee a tough, efficient frontcourt presence, posting 7.0 points and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 55.3% from the field before a season-ending knee injury ended her year. Her real value was steadier than the stats: she was described as an emotional and vocal leader, a mature transfer who brought experience, positivity, and physicality in the paint. If you want a low-drama, high-IQ, glue-piece big who stabilizes a locker room and finishes efficiently, she’s your kind of player.
