seasoned NCCU DL with leadership chops and disruptive edge
Jessie Malit has been a steady, high-character presence for North Carolina Central, with proven production in the 2019 and 2022 seasons: 26 tackles, 5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in 2019, then 28 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks in 2022, when he ranked among the MEAC’s better edge disruptors. He also earned major off-field recognition as a 2021 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team honoree and Campbell Trophy semifinalist, signaling intelligence, maturity, and buy-in. For a team, he’s a fit if you want a tough, experienced DL who brings pass-rush pop, leadership, and reliable effort more than flash.
