Jeff Jones Jr. is a high-upside edge defender with intriguing upside
Jeff Jones Jr. is listed as a **defensive end** for Southern Illinois, but the available public data on his current college production is sparse, so the best read is on profile and fit rather than box-score volume. What stands out is that he brings a **compact, athletic frame** and an edge-player background that suggests burst, leverage, and versatility on the front line. He looks like a developmental fit for a program that values length, effort, and projectable traits more than instant headline stats.
