steady FGCU righty with real strikeout bite
In the 2026 season, Florida Gulf Coast right-hander Jordan Vera showed a workable strikeout arm, posting 7 strikeouts across 6 innings while making key appearances in relief and even earning a save in 2025.[1][14] The stat line is still noisy, but the appeal is clear: a right-on-right look, usable swing-and-miss, and experience in leverage spots. He looks like a pitcher worth watching if a staff wants upside, competitiveness, and bullpen flexibility rather than a finished product.[1][11][14]
