experienced Leopards linebacker with special-teams grit
Max Kauthen is a steady, physical linebacker for Lafayette whose value has come from reliability and special-teams work rather than headline-grabbing numbers. In the 2021 season, he played in Lafayette’s final three games and recorded a tackle at Holy Cross, showing he could earn snaps when the staff needed trust and toughness. His differentiator is the blue-collar profile: limited flash, but dependable effort, size at 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds, and a willingness to do the dirty work. If you want a linebacker who brings intensity and team-first utility, he fits the bill.
