Mickey McConnell Brings Championship-Caliber Leadership Back to Saint Mary’s
Mickey McConnell isn’t a current playing guard so much as a proven Saint Mary’s basketball leader whose biggest value is command, culture, and player development. A former 2011 West Coast Conference Player of the Year, he helped define the Gaels’ winning identity and later returned to the program after a long pro career, giving him real on-court credibility and coaching perspective. If you care about toughness, basketball IQ, and someone who understands how to fit into — and elevate — a winning system, McConnell is exactly the kind of Gael you want in your orbit.
