veteran NDSU linebacker with captain's grit and academic-star pedigree
Kole Zimmerman profiles as a tough, high-IQ linebacker for North Dakota State, with a background that screams reliability: he was a two-time conference MVP and team captain in high school, and at NDSU he earned major academic recognition while becoming a starter. In the 2005 season, he was credited with 122 total tackles, plus a pick-six and multiple interceptions over his Bison career, which hints at both run-stopping juice and playmaking instincts. If you want a disciplined, physical, lead-by-example defender, Zimmerman's your guy.
