Alex Nini

Alex Nini brings Rutgers a battle-tested, international grinder at 149

In the 2024-25 season, Alex Nini went 10-7 for Rutgers while competing redshirt at 141/149, and his resume still pops because he was a four-time New Jersey state medalist, a 2024 state runner-up, and a bronze medalist for Team Italy at the 2024 U20 European Championships. He looks like a high-upside fit for a lineup that values pace, toughness, and mat awareness: Rutgers has highlighted him as part of a highly touted incoming class, and his appeal is the kind that shows up beyond the box score—scrappy, international-tested, and comfortable in tough matchups.
