Jevon Thomas was a 4-star point guard prospect out of Queens who brought quickness, lead-guard experience, and solid assist production from Kansas State to Seton Hall; in his Kansas State stint he averaged 4.5 points and 3.3 assists in the 2014-15 season, then played just 10 games for Seton Hall before leaving the program in 2017 after a rocky stretch that included a suspension and limited impact. He’s the kind of guard teams wanted for handling and setup, but the fit was clearly disrupted by availability and off-court issues rather than talent.
