Miami’s Carter Davis: big-leg kicker with clutch-game trust
In the 2025 season, Miami kicker Carter Davis delivered a strong year for the Hurricanes, converting 17 of 24 field goals and all 52 extra points, while also drilling a pressure-packed 47-yarder to beat Notre Dame. He stood out for a steady operation, range beyond 50 yards, and the kind of calm coaches love in late-game chaos. The flip side: his year also included a few costly misses, so he reads more like a high-ceiling, high-variance weapon than a perfectly polished lock.
