Eastern Michigan’s long-lingering kicking standard
Starnes stands out as a durable, historically productive Eastern Michigan specialist, with 34 career field goals that still rank among the Eagles’ all-time leaders and have made him a benchmark for the program’s kickers. The big differentiator is reliability over flash: he’s the kind of player coaches value when field-position football gets ugly and every extra point matters. That said, there’s no current-season stat line available here, so the best fit read is as a proven program standard rather than a fresh national-rank buzz name.
