low-volume Furman fullback with niche utility
Daniel Dixon is a Furman fullback whose 2026 profile points to a depth-role player rather than a volume producer: in the 2010 season listed on his player page, he logged 2 carries for 5 yards, 0 touchdowns, and a 2.5 yards-per-carry average. His value is more about fit than flash — the kind of compact, physical, assignment-sound FB who can help in short-yardage, lead-blocking, and special-package situations. If you want a bruiser with proven production, this is not that; if you want a selfless, role-specific tone-setter, Dixon can be the kind of glue guy coaches love.
