Brelan Franks brings ball-hawking upside to the Delta Devils secondary
Brelan Franks is a Mississippi Valley State defensive back who showed a real knack for turnovers in the 2020 season, finishing with 4 interceptions, which is the kind of stat-later-than-life trait coaches love in a DB. He also appears on the current Mississippi Valley State roster, signaling he remains part of the program’s defensive picture. The big appeal: instinctive hands, playmaking range, and a profile that suggests he can punish quarterbacks who get careless. For a team needing disruption over decoration, he’s the kind of defensive back worth a hard look.
