Versatile Akron Safety with Ball-Hawking Instincts
Bre' Ford is a defensive back who played safety for the University of Akron Zips, demonstrating solid instincts in the secondary. During his senior season (2014), Ford appeared in 10 games with seven starts, recording 36 tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble—showcasing his ability to create turnovers and impact plays. His ball-hawking skills and defensive awareness make him an intriguing prospect for teams seeking a versatile safety who can contribute on special teams and in coverage. Ford's film shows good range and positioning, though limited college production data suggests he may be best suited for developmental opportunities at the next level.
