SWAC Standout LB Turned Colorado Buffs Coach
Anthony Balancier, a dominant Southern Jaguars linebacker, earned 2013 Preseason All-SWAC First Team honors and SWAC Defensive Player of the Week after a 9-tackle (8 solo) clinic in the Bayou Classic win over Grambling; his relentless intensity and sideline-to-sideline speed made him a tackling machine and leader. Now thriving as a football coach at the University of Colorado, his proven football IQ and New Orleans grit make him a differentiator for building tough, disciplined defenses—ideal for teams seeking a high-energy coach with HBCU pedigree.
