NC State CB James Valdez is a developmental defensive back with size and high-school ball skills
James Valdez is listed by 247Sports as a 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback from Santee, South Carolina, but there is no recent public college stat line in the available sources to show current on-field production at NC State.[2] His appeal is mostly as a projection: he has documented ball skills from high school, including interceptions and passes defended on MaxPreps, which suggests the kind of instinctive coverage player who can compete for special-teams and depth value if he continues to add strength and polish.[3]
