Reliable Appalachian State specialist with proven accuracy and field-position value
Zach Matics is a proven Appalachian State kicking specialist whose biggest value comes from consistency: in his college career he converted 68.2% of his field goals and 98.8% of his extra points, with a long of 51 yards. He earned first-team All-Sun Belt recognition in 2015 and was among the conference’s top performers, which suggests a steady, trusted leg under pressure. For a team, that means dependable points, cleaner field-position outcomes, and a specialist who has already shown he can handle high-leverage snaps.
