Ted Jones brings interior toughness to Southern's defensive front
Ted Jones is a **Southern University defensive lineman** whose value is in trench work, physicality, and helping set the tone against the run, making him the kind of player coaches trust when they want effort, leverage, and straight-line violence on defense.[3] Publicly available stat detail on his 2025–26 production is limited, so the main takeaway is his role: a depth-or-impact DL fit for teams that prize toughness, discipline, and developmental upside over headline numbers.[3][4]
