Versatile UTRGV forward with rebounding punch and defensive upside
In his college career, Sahavaul Butters has shown the kind of frontcourt versatility that coaches love: at Aspire Academy in 2019-20 he led the team in points (386), field-goal percentage (57.1%), three-point percentage (39.6%) and rebounds (323), and UTRGV described him as a near double-double player after he averaged 11.7 points and 9.8 rebounds in 33 games before arriving in the NCAA. He also added 32 blocks and 28 steals, hinting at real two-way value. His story includes a tibial stress-fracture recovery, so durability is part of the picture, but the fit is clear: active, physical, efficient, and impactful on both glass and defense.
