Shariff Harris brings proven volume, burst, and toughness to SIU’s backfield
Harris flashed real workhorse value for Southern Illinois, highlighted by a season-high 163 rushing yards on 37 carries in a win at No. 19 Illinois State, which earned him MVFC Newcomer of the Week honors in 2024. He stands out for his ability to handle heavy usage, stay productive against quality competition, and give an offense a physical, downhill presence. If you want a back who can absorb carries and set the tone, Harris is the kind of fit that matters beyond the box score.
