Multi-Sport Standout with Untapped Potential at Shepherd, Eyeing Bigger Stages
No confirmed records link Kendell Smith as QB for North Carolina Central Eagles; instead, he's a versatile WR from Shepherd University (class of 2018), a 2014 Washington HS grad who earned first-team All-State in football plus accolades in basketball and baseball, showcasing elite athleticism and multi-sport intensity. His high school Hudl highlights reveal speed and playmaking ability, differentiating him as a late-bloomer with pro-level work ethic—23 bench reps noted in similar profiles—ideal for teams seeking gritty, adaptable skill players over raw stats. Watch for transfer or breakout in 2026.
